About Beyond Words

Beyond Words was founded by Julissa Delgado-Chirinos in 2011 with the purpose of providing home and school based speech and language therapy services to the pediatric population. 

Julissa Delgado-Chirinos, M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a focus on child psychology, from Florida International University in 2005. In 2007, she earned a Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and has continued her education with specialized training in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, the AEIOU Systematic Approach to Pediatric Feeding, and the Hanen Method: It Takes Two to Talk.
